Full professor at the University of Valencia since 2018. His main areas of interest are liquid and gas chromatography, liquid- and solid-phase microextraction techniques, and cosmetic, pharmaceutical, environmental and biological analysis. He is a member of the committee for standardization of analytical methods for cosmetic products, which provides advisory recommendations.
